Our Core Commitment

MyPrivacy Vault is built on a single principle: your data belongs to you, and only you. The app operates entirely offline. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics tracking your behavior inside the app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.
• We do not collect photos, videos, passwords, or any content you store in the app.
• We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.
• We do not use analytics tools, crash reporting services, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not track how you use the app.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All data you create within MyPrivacy Vault — including photos, videos, passwords, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using AES-256 hardware encryption. This data:

• Never leaves your device.
• Is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
• Is protected by biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) where available.
• Is permanently deleted when you delete the app.

3. AI Permissions Audit Feature

The AI Permissions Audit feature displays information about the data practices of third-party AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot). This information is hardcoded within the app — it does not require an internet connection, does not make API calls, and does not transmit any data. We do not collect information about which AI tools you view or what actions you take within this feature.

4. Private Browser

The Private Browser feature uses Apple's WebKit engine to render web pages. When you use the Private Browser, your browsing activity (history, cookies, cached data) is stored only in memory and is permanently deleted when you close the app or clear the session. We do not log, monitor, or have access to your browsing activity.

Note: websites you visit may collect data according to their own privacy policies. MyPrivacy Vault has no control over third-party websites.

5. In-App Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We only receive confirmation of whether a valid subscription exists — no payment details are shared with us.

6. Third-Party Services

MyPrivacy Vault does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only third-party integration is RevenueCat, which is used solely to verify subscription status. RevenueCat may process a minimal amount of data necessary to validate your App Store subscription. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

7. Children's Privacy

MyPrivacy Vault does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal information from any users, the app is safe for all ages. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify users through an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
